Most PM owners think the path to wealth is more doors. More clients, more units, more revenue.

I sat down with my notes from 50+ research calls with PM owners across the country, some stuck, some thriving, and pulled out every pattern I could find in the wealthiest ones. None of them got there by adding doors. In fact, door count was almost entirely irrelevant.

Here's what they all had in common.

Their PMC was never their only source of income.

Every wealthy owner I've talked to had money working somewhere outside the business: real estate, other ventures, passive investments. The business funded the wealth. It was never the wealth itself.

They delayed gratification for a long time, and that gap is where the wealth came from.
